Our 2008 Five-a-side Tournament was held on the weekend of 17th & 18th May. This year was our biggest ever event with 193 football teams competing playing over 500 football matches. In total we welcomed over 2500 visitors to Burley in Wharfedale.

It's safe to say that our tournament is becoming one of the largest sporting events in the area.

The age groups represented were as follows

Boys: u7s, u8s, u9s, u10s, u11s, u12s, u13s, u14s

Girls: u10s, u11s, u12s, u13s

Fun: u6s

This year we again made available all the usual facilities such as toilets, catering, food tent, ice cream van and free car parking as well as for the first time inviting a professional photography company who proved to be very popular. Our thanks goes to everyone who helped to organise, run and administer the event as well as all the players parents and coaches for attending.

The next five-a-side tournament will be over the weekend of 16th & 17th May 2009 and we look forward to welcoming you back to Burley Trojans Juniors.
