The League is not just about fixtures and results. One of the most important aspects is the Education Programme, providing coaching courses, and workshops on child protection, first aid and match-day skills. These are either free, or subsidised, and are consistent with the league's values of improving skills and promoting a safe playing environment.

Girls Teams: The girls squad and their managers
BTJFC have competitive teams from Under 6 to Under 17 for boys and Under 9 to Under 14 girls. Each team is looked after and coached by a manager, usually with the assistance of at least one registered parent helper. The club actively encourages appropriate training and most of the managers have FA coaching qualifications. We also have a mixed under 6's team which due to its success in its first year (2007) will become a permanent fixture at BTJFC
