Annual Club Awards - 2008

in

Vote Now for the 2008 Awards

In 2007, the club held its first annual awards evening to recognise the outstanding efforts of individuals throughout the year. There are four awards namely; Club Supporter of the Year, Sponsor of the Year, Manager / Coach of the Year and Special Award. The nominations for each award are made by every one involved in the club and the winners are announced at our annual Black Tie Ball in October. The event was so successful in its first year that the club has now committed to making this an annual event.

Bates Millfield Mortgages

Many thanks to Bates Millfield Mortgages for sponsoring the U10 Girls team.

Kilimanjaro

Our 'Special Projects Officer', has recently completed a mammoth fund raising challenge. Paul Cranley set out to climb to the top of Kilimanjaro. At 19,335 feet above sea level, it's Africa's highest mountain, located on the northern border of Tanzania. Kilimanjaro's stratovolcano consists of three volcanic cones named Kibo, Shira and Mawenzi.

All our kits are of a high standard and where possible we encourage year group managers to secure sponsorship. The sponsors logo can be printed on the front of the shirt, along with our club emblem. Many of our kits are sponsored by local businesses to whom we are very grateful for their sponsorship and continued support.

Changing Rooms

Our project to develop a 'real' home for our club is gathering pace. The project team met in late January '08 to finalise the drawings and to ensure the application forms for planning had been completed correctly. On 4th February 2008, our plans were posted to Bradford Council planning department. The process can take up to eight weeks before we will know whether we have been successful in gaining planning permission on Iron Row.
