Under 16 Boys win Wharfedale Junior cup
Posted April 29th, 2009 by Richard DayBurley Trojan Juniors Under 16 team have won the Wharfedale junior cup by beating Guiseley 1-0 at Guiseley AFC ground on Thursday 23rd April. A fantastic achievement as this is the first time Burley Trojan Juniors have won this competition. A link to the official match report is included below.

How to find us
There are two main grounds in the village where Burley Trojans Juniors play - Iron Row which is in the centre of the
village and Scalebor Park, which can be found above the village in the grounds of the newly developed housing estate from the old hospital. Scalebor Park grounds have changing facilities close to the pitch(es) and as such host most of the matches for the girls' squads.

Tournament

Our 2008 Five-a-side Tournament was held on the weekend of 17th & 18th May. This year was our biggest ever event with 193 football teams competing playing over 500 football matches. In total we welcomed over 2500 visitors to Burley in Wharfedale.
It's safe to say that our tournament is becoming one of the largest sporting events in the area.
